GREASE THE MOVIE

Sandy's parents change plans, decide to stay in America, and Sandy enrols at Rydell High. Sandy still has the wholesome, prim, goody two shoes look she had in the summer, but when she meets Danny again, she is shocked to see he has changed. Danny's the leader of a leather-clad greaser gang called "The T-Birds." He's also got a reputation to hold and doesn't want to look uncool by falling in love with a "nice wholesome" girl.

Sandy makes friends with The T-Birds female equivalent "The Pink Ladies", a group of girls who are hot, sexy, go with the guys and all wear pink jackets. They are the complete opposite of Sandy.

Sandy realises she will have to change and lose her "Sandra Dee" image if she wants to keep Danny. She gets The Pink Ladies to help her with the transformation and at Graduation Day, everyone gets a shock when they see the new Sandy.

Grease is a musical with some great memorable songs like Greased Lightning, Summer Nights, and You're the One that I Want. Grease is a classic, that was a huge hit when it was first released and is still as popular today. A great look at the life of teenagers in the fifties in America and the rock n roll culture.
