There are different types: Shampoo type - which are sanitised, with this type you shampoo the brush with warm water, rinse well and leave to dry.Spray bottle - use the pump spray to spritz your brushes. Simply use a tissue to wipe off. Brush is clean and ready to use again.
It is important to regularly clean your brushes, to remove dirt and old makeup and to avoid bacteria growth which can causeskin problems. Use either a shampoo or pump spray cleaner, or wash in hot, soapy water.
If using a shampoo or soapy water, hold the brush, with the hairs pointing down and the handle facing up towards you, under warm, running water. Use your fingers to massage the brush and loosen the built up dirt. Apply a little shampoo onto the hairs and massage into the hairs with your fingers.
Place the brush under the warm, running water again in the same way and work the brush with your fingers to release the shampoo and dirt. Do this until the water runs clean.Place the brush flat down on a towel and pat dry. Leave to dry thoroughly before using.
