MAMMA MIA MOVIE
Mamma Mia is a musical, set on a beautiful Greek island, using Abba songs to tell the story. Sophie, a young woman, who grew
up on a Greek island with her single, independent mother is about to marry. Always curious as to who her father may be, she finds her mother's
old diary - which lists 3 men as her possible father. She deceptively invites them all to her wedding, hoping to find out which one
is her real father.
All three turn up, believing Donna (Meryl Streep), the mother had invited them. Donna has also invited her two best friends, who
have fun gossiping and reminiscing, as well as Sophie's friends who arrive for the wedding. There is a lot of fun and chaos as
each group is working out what the others are up to.
Mamma Mia has a great cast of actors, who all look like they are having lots of fun. There's lots of singing and dancing, and with a
great selection of Abba songs, it makes this a wonderfully amusing, feel good, up beat comedy with
great scenery and acting. Even if you're not an Abba fan, you'll find it hard not to sing or tap your toes whilst watching this film. There is a great soundtrack cd to accompany this film with all the stars of the movie singing on it.
