STEP UP 2 THE STREETS MOVIE

Andie is a member of the 410 crew, a gang who love street dancing and goes around the streets of the city showcasing their talents illegally.

Andie is always getting into trouble and is told if she doesn't change she will be sent to Texas to stay with other family members. An old friend of hers, who understands her, who also loves street dancing and has forged a career for himself in dancing, gets her an audition to MSA - Maryland School of Arts.

She gets in, but struggles to settle in and doesn't feel like she belongs amongst all the other trained ballet and jazz dancers. She keeps messing up and making a fool of herself in class, as she only knows one style of dance.

She catches the eye of Chase, the most popular guy in the school, who is also the brother of the new director.

Andie gets kicked out of the 410 crew for missing rehearsals. Not being in a crew, she now can't battle in "The Streets" - a raw street dancing competition. Andie is devastated, street dancing and competing at "The Streets" is all she lives for.

She finds enough people as MSA and starts her own MSA crew. They come up against problems from her old 410 crew and there are some street fighting where Chase gets hurt. The 410 crew then break into the MSA and trash the school.

The director finds out who did it and why and expels Andie from the school.

When "The Streets" is finally on, everyone gets a text telling them where and when. They persuade andie they are up for it and turn up. They are told they are unwelcome there and that they don't fit in. Andie knows the true meaning of "The Streets" is about bringing something new to the floor and showcasing the best street dancing. She takes her crew outside and there is a final showdown of the best street dancing.

There is a great soundtrack to this film, but if you're thinking of buying the cd, check that it has the songs that you want, there are some songs in the movie, which are missing on the cd, which is disappointing.
